When we begin to understand how the things we buy and use everyday impact things like pollution and illness, or the loss of forests, or even climate change for example, that realization is oftentimes accompanied by a strong desire to be more selective about the products we’re using and the companies we’re supporting through our purchases. But how many of us in today’s fast paced world have the time and energy to research things like product ingredients or whether or not the supplier of a product is extracting and disposing of materials responsibly?
With no clearly visible, impactful outlet to align our purchasing choices with our innermost values, many of us fall far short of transitioning to a more sustainable way of life. Most of us eventually falsely convince ourselves that we are powerless over what’s happening in the world. We’re not.
Company Eco was forged from an inescapable conviction – that each of us has the power to change the way we live and therefore the world we live in. Through our individual purchasing choices, we can collectively overcome many global scale challenges. This single purpose underlies every facet of our business model and it is at the heart of who we are and everything we aspire to be.
